Minifestis in autumn

Minifesti is a La Mutable format where we bring together several workshop leaders to offer a full day of movement activities. We start in the morning and finish in the afternoon. Workshops are usually 1.5 hours long, and participants sign up for whichever activities they feel like joining.

The format lets us benefit from economies of scale:

• the room is cheaper to rent for the whole day than for two hours,
• by promoting each activity, we also promote the whole event.

Minifestis so far:

• 24 January: an average of 6.9 participants per workshop,
• 9 May: an average of 8.8 participants per workshop,
• 20 June: an average of 6.8 participants per workshop.

Venue and dates

Asociación Samadhi de Salud Integral in Benimaclet.

• 26 September the program is full,
• 10 October.

This time, we are going to experiment with some workshops in English.

Terms of colaboration

The association will take care of:

• Coordination: finding dates, organising workshop leaders, etc.
• The door: welcoming people and checking tickets.
• Covering venue hire costs.
• Website and online sales.
• Preparing posters.
• Marketing through our channels (social media, mailing list, Meetup).
• Marketing through general community channels (Girls in Valencia, Actividades Varias, etc.).

The workshop leader is responsible for:

• Preparing the workshop and sharing it with all their care.
• Arriving 15 minutes before the activity and setting up the room so that the workshop can start on time.
• Marketing through their own channels and discipline-specific community channels (WhatsApp and Telegram groups).

Compensation

Your earnings will be calculated based on the number of people attending your workshop. We pay €7 per participant.

The participant count will not include:

• Your guests,
• Other event collaborators: the idea is that we all support one another and can attend each other’s activities.
• People who sneaked in without paying.

In addition to compensation per participant, additional compensation may be considered (travel expenses, etc.). In that case, we will need to agree on the details before confirming the programme.
