What data do we process and for what purposes?
1. Event registration
When users register for an event through the website, we process the information provided in the registration form (name, email address and, where applicable, other information requested for the particular event) for the following purposes:
- To manage the registration and confirm the user’s place.
- To communicate logistical information related to the event (schedules, changes and cancellations).
- To maintain attendance records for organisational purposes and, where applicable, to provide supporting evidence for grants or the association’s activity reports.
Legal basis: performance of a contractual or pre-contractual relationship (registration for the event) and the association’s legitimate interest in organising its activities (Articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
2. Newsletter
If users voluntarily select the newsletter subscription box, we process their email address in order to send them information about upcoming events and activities organised by Asociación La Mutable.
- Subscription requires a clear and affirmative action (the box is not pre-selected) and is separate from any other box used to accept this policy.
- Every communication includes a link allowing the recipient to unsubscribe immediately and free of charge.
Legal basis: the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time.
3. Payments (if applicable)
If the website permits payment for tickets or fees through a payment gateway (for example, Mollie), payment information will be processed directly by that provider in accordance with its own privacy policy. Asociación La Mutable does not store card details or banking credentials.
Legal basis: performance of the contractual relationship arising from the purchase (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
4. Web analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to obtain aggregated and anonymous statistics about visits to the website. This tool neither identifies individual users nor installs cookies. Further details are available in our Cookie Policy.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used in order to improve it (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), with no significant impact on users’ privacy because individual users are not identified.
How long do we retain the data?
- Event registration data: for as long as necessary to manage the event and, subsequently, for the period required by the applicable regulations concerning supporting evidence for activities or grants (generally up to five years), or until the user requests its erasure where there is no legal obligation to retain it.
- Newsletter data: until the user unsubscribes or withdraws their consent.
- Payment data: for the retention periods required under commercial and tax law (generally six years). This data is retained by the payment provider, not by the association.
Who receives the data?
Data is not disclosed to third parties unless required by law, except for the following disclosures necessary to provide the service:
- The web hosting provider for fusion-dance.es.
- Plausible Analytics, for aggregated and anonymous statistics.
- The payment provider (for example, Mollie), but only if payments are processed through the website.
These providers act as data processors and provide the safeguards required under Article 28 of the GDPR. The payment provider may instead process the data as an independent data controller.
International transfers
Personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area unless one of the aforementioned providers carries out such transfers subject to the safeguards established by the GDPR (for example, standard contractual clauses). In such cases, users may request further information from the data controller.
Users’ rights
Users may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access to their personal data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction of processing.
- Objection to processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, please email marcin.wosinek@gmail.com, stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching, if necessary, a copy of a document confirming your identity.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if they believe that the processing of their data does not comply with the applicable legislation.
Security measures
Asociación La Mutable has adopted the technical and organisational measures necessary to ensure the security of personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or unauthorised access.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended to reflect legislative developments or changes to the operation of the website. Users are advised to review it periodically.
